These tips are help hacks and are no threat to anyone. This site and the author of this post are not responsible if your system fails, hacking your softwares or hardware is at your own RISK!. If you really do not understand the instuctions, abort this hack. So just as you figured out how to show hidden files and you thought was all the hidden files (BuZZ!) Wrong! Here you are going to learn how to find out what Microsoft is really hiding. These files are also the operation of Windows, so if you don't know what they do. Don't change them. Or else you will be pulling out the Windows Cd to reinstall. So lets get started. First we need to get in the Registry editor: 1> Click on the Start Menu button 2> Click on the Run option 3> Type in the text box regedit 4> In the registry editor we are going to navigate to where we want to go. Here is the path to click the following: 4a> HKEY_CURRENT_USER 4b> Software 4c> Microsoft 4d> Windows 4e> Current Version 4f> Explorer 4g> Advanced Now we create a DWORD for ShowSuperHidden 5> Right click the right table and you will see New 6> With your cursor over the New you see more options. 7> Click on DWORD 8> A new line will be inserted in the table. It reads New Value #1 9> You now change that to ShowSuperHidden 10> Then right clicking on ShowSuperHidden (that you created) and a small block opens. Click on Modify 11> Change the value to 1 By right clicking on ShowSuperHidden and a small block opens. Click on Modify ![]() 12> A small window will popup for you to change the value. Change where it shows the Value Data to 1 now you can either use hexadecimal or or decimal value. If you are not sure about what hexadecimal is you can simply change the decimal value checking off decimal on the editor popup window. 8> Exit the registry editor and reboot the system And explore Windows normally and see what you find. |
