Well, I have been a mechanic all of my life and it now hits me that our economy has been getting really bad.

The dealership I work for now used to have a Mac tool guy, Matco tool guy, Cornwell tool guy, Snap-On tool guy, and a SK/Sunex tool guy. 2 years ago we lost Cornwell. Last year we lost SK and Mac.

For the last 2 weeks, my Matco dealer has not showed up and I did business with him since 1996. I finally called him and he told me he quit dealing tools  I started bitching at him because you do not just "Up and leave" all your customers in the dark!

Now all we have is the Snap_on guy left and he is over-priced, so now I am stuck with a shit-load of broken various tools that cannot be replaced unless I hunt down new dealers. Sears, here I come! :dunno
