Here is how this great place has come to us...........
Back in 2004, Enemy Territory Fortress was being created from LaVaGoD and the ETF DeV team. The Official ETF Site was set up on 7/15/2004 and shortly after, Python from Railbait.com set up PlanetETF as a "Fan Site". The first set of forums dissapeared and the second set were inactive. In late 2005, Python needed help with his site and that is when I became part of the staff as a news poster.

On October of 2005, I decided to make my very own ETF site as a "Support" site with all the info needed for a new player to get started. PlanetETF closed, ETF-Center closed, ETF-University closed, and nobody was able to find the needed files or info for ETF. That is when I made my ETF Freewebs Site.

Somehow, Python seen my site and since his domain name of PlanetETF.com was not being used, he was nice enough to let me use the domain and host it on the Railbait server. I set up these forums on January 1st 2006 and slowly, but surely, this place has grown!

With a domain for the site and all the ETF files, maps, videos, etc the forums here gets a large share of visitors. A few members have gained my trust and help moderate these forums. If it were not for a great team and a great selection of members, this place would never be as great as it is now.

I am asked why I prefer Invisionfree forums. I choose IF due to the support and security! Also, all images for this forum are hosted on my Photobucket account to keep us running! If Railbait.com or PlanetETF.com ever go down temporarily, these forums will still be up!

ETF has never been a really popular game with a large player-base, but as you learn the game, you understand how great it is. You also get to know the players online when you see them on a daily or weekly basis. This place may have a small community, but it is a great one!
