Well "SUSE Linux" from Novell is the most "Windows XP" like Linux out there. It's quite easy to install, and chances are that it know all of your hardware! There's thousands of software already preinstalled and working, so likely you don't have to install anything. I was very pleased with it. Good luck!

I have to agree with SUSE Linux being the most friendly distro. I have never used it, but seen it on another machine and was impressed with it. |
