(There she stood, the daughter of Azrael Goeren and one of the biggest rising stars in the EWA, Grace Goeren. The bar had pretty much cleared out to this point, leaving only Kage and Haven, they stared across the open air at the daughter of the man they would face in just a few short days.)

Chris Kage: Great to see you again, Grace. Thanks for taking the time to come and meet with us.

Grace Goeren: I don't have a lot of time, my layover is only for a couple hours, but here I am. What is this all about?

(Grace makes her way over to the two Youth members, as Haven slides a stool over in front of them for her to take a seat.)

Alexander Haven: Let me grab you a drink.

(Haven motions towards the bartender, but Grace quickly refuses.)

Grace Goeren: No, thank you, but, no. I'm in the middle of a training regimen, and just...no.

Chris Kage: Ha! That's rich. Training regimen huh, fucking Gates helping you with that?

Grace Goeren: Don't worry about that. What can I do for you guys? Like I said, I don't have a lot of time, so no bullshit please.

Alexander Haven: Ah, she is a little rough around the edges, but I like it, Chris, I do.

Chris Kage: Me too, but listen, Grace, have you ever heard the old saying the enemy of my enemy is my friend?

Grace Goeren: Of course.

Chris Kage: Well, Grace….it’s simple, your father is a giant sack of shit, and I intend on snapping his neck Monday. And from what I've seen, that just might be something that you're into.

Grace Goeren: And…

Alexander Haven: Listen, we don't want to beat around the bush. We have seen what you are capable of and we know what type of talent you are. We also know what type of person Duane Gates is.

Chris Kage: You have been looking for a family that will be there for you. Duane Gates, is not that fucking family. We are the family that you need, Grace. We are the family you have been looking for.

Alexander Haven: The future of this entire industry goes directly through us, Grace. Not fucking Duane Gates. We can help you become a bigger star then you could have ever imagined. We can help you destroy Az. We can make it ALL happen for you.

Chris Kage: Look at the ledger, World titles, Network titles, TapOut titles, and in a few short days...Tag Team titles. We want you to become a part of that. We want Grace Goeren in The Youth.

Alexander Haven: The ball is in your court, my lady. Just know that there's only one right decision.

(Grace goes quiet for a few seconds, letting the offer sink in. She tilts her head slightly to the side, seemingly sizing up Chris and Alex before cracking a devious smile.)

Grace Goeren: Your timing really sucks. I mean it REALLY does. Another time and another place, I would have jumped at the chance to throw in with you boys and fucking paralyze that son of a bitch for the rest of his life.

Chris Kage: But?

Grace Goeren: But...things are already in motion. I'll leave it at that. Good news for you two is that while I won't join your army, I'll be more than happy to wave your flag. Go get him. Promise me you'll make my father suffer. Ruin him in every way possible. Just leave the remains for me.

(With that, the younger Goeren blows both Kage and Haven a kiss and walks towards the entrance of the bar. She stops at the door and glances back at them, flashing the same devious smile as before before she disappears out the door.)

Chris Kage: That didn't go exactly how I had hoped.

Alexander Haven: It's fine. We have time, and she has all the time in the world. Some people, you don't necessarily need to have as an ally, but you definitely don't want them as an enemy.

Chris Kage: I hear that. So what do you want to do now? I'm fucked up and looking to make some bad decisions tonight.

Alexander Haven: Ah, I should get back, Alyssa is gonna start thinking we got ourselves arrested again.

Chris Kage: Arrested? Psshhh, she’ll be fine. I have an idea, hear me out.

(Haven nods.)

Chris Kage: You know that bitch Amy and her little shit son Johnny that X was stalking all those months ago.

Alexander Haven: Yea of course, then out of nowhere they went missing and we never heard about it again.

Chris Kage: Exactly, we should totally honor our civic duty and find them, we'd be like national treasures. I can see us on The Rachel Maddow Show already.

Alexander Haven: The Rachel Maddow Show? Really? How about Ellen? I would totally do Ellen. Although I don't think she'd be interested in doing me.

Chris Kage: Let's meet in the middle, how about Dr. Oz, we could nail him.

Alexander Haven: Are you listening to yourself? Ok, ok..I got it. The Rachel Ray Show.

Chris Kage: Now you're speaking my language, The Rachel Ray Show it is.

Alexander Haven: Niiiiiiccceee. Alright brother, let's go find em.

(Kage and Haven quickly slam back their remaining drinks and make their way out the door on their way to fulfill a destiny which only they were meant to.)

(We fade back in. Chris Kage is front and center passed out on what appears to be a wooden bench. As we pan out, we can make out the rest of our setting, it's your everyday dank and smelly jail cell. Kage still wearing the same clothes as he was the night before barely moves as an officer opens the cell in front of him.)

Officer: Kage! You made bail, let's go!

(Kage pops up and with a half conscious glazed over look stares back at the officer.)

Chris Kage: Bail? Uh...what the fuck happened last night? Who is it? Alex? Allysa? Josh?

Officer: I have no idea, but let's go.

(The officer walks over to Kage and grabs him by the arm leading him hastily and rather aggressively out of the cell and into the hallway. A familiar woman steps out of a nearby room and greets the two men.)

Chris Kage: Stacy? What’re you doing here? Oh fuck, what did I do?

(That's right, the EWA’s Executive Assistant and currently the most powerful woman in the company, Stacy Vandervort, stood directly in front of the EWA’s current World Heavyweight Champion. Kage’s face said it all, this wasn't good, not at all.)

Stacy Vandervort: You just can't help yourself can you? Do you even remember what happened last night?

Chris Kage: Yea of course, I was at the bar with Alex, we had a meeting….then...oh shit.

Stacy Vandervort: Ya, exactly. You passed out in some ladies bed, she came home from work, because she works the nightshift, and you were passed out in her fucking bed, Chris. How does that even happen!?

Chris Kage: I..uh...I have no idea. Things got a little out of hand last night. Shit, where the hell is Alex?

Stacy Vandervort: I have no idea where Alex is. I got a call in the middle of the night last night, because apparently you gave them my contact information here. And if you weren't a key part of my first Battlelines Main Event, I probably would have let you stay in here. But it is, what it is, and here I am.

Chris Kage: Ah fuck. Does Draven know about this?

Stacy Vandervort: Not yet, but I'm sure he will. This kind of shit is public record, also you know there are eyes and ears everywhere.

Chris Kage: Well, fuck me. Thanks, I guess.

Stacy Vandervort: Yea, no problem. Just do me a favor, will you? Stay out of trouble until Path of the Warrior, this will be a big event for me, can you do that?

Chris Kage: I can't make any promises, you know that, but...with you in mind, I'll do my best.

(Kage walks passed Stacy and makes his way through a door at the end the of the hallway. Stacy smiles and shakes her head as the scene fades out.)
