Apparently quiet a few !! This was Martin's Wot trainer that went dead stick again on first flight just caught in the reeds and luckily avoided hitting the pond. No damage at all and flew again twice that day. Thanks to Normans advice on removing the pressure tube the engine ran much better on the following flights.

After three uneventful flights with Brian on Saturday, this..... Modesty prevents Mike mentioning TWO dead stick recoveries last Sunday - the other was a perfect landing on the strip. Four dead sticks in a week, one that I landed myself. Great advice from Mike and Norman resolved the engine issue, underlined by trouble free flights with Chris on Monday. All in all we are blessed with our Club trainers! |
