Two pick up loads of brick hardcore have been delivered to the field. It has been unloaded in the area we need to extend the winter parking but need spreading out.

A working party has been scheduled for Sunday 30th April starting at 13:00, it needs members to come along to get this task done, the more that come the quicker it will be done and the less each of us will have to do. The material is mainly old brittle single bricks but some are still held together with motor, these will need breaking up. Bring sledge and lump hammers as well as gloves and safety glasses.

If you are feeling fit do come along, don't assume someone else will do the work........

I have a sledgehammer but I dont have the body to operate it. In terms of health and safety I'm sure we also need hard hats and steel toecap footwear.

I intend to come along with sledgehammer, shovel, eye protection and workmans boots. My only concern is that as an office worker of many years my muscles have the endurance of an old non-cycled NiCad. But I'll do my best. See you there. Cliff

For those not up to rock breaking and spreading some safety line posts need to be replaced and the line re attached, so something for most abilities.

All planned work completed so thanks to those who turned out. We will let the hardcore settle now and look toward getting some more scalpings delivered and distributed. The grass mat has been pinned down in the nothern pilot box, take care you don't trip on the edge before the grass grows through.
