Those flying last Monday may have seen my WOT 4 go dead stick twice, the first time was at height and I got it back on the strip (would have passed my A test ) but the second one was just after a low pass and although I was lucky to get it back inside the field the landing in the long grass ripped off the under carriage and the bottom of the fuselage. I have found the culprit, a split fuel tank, which has also soaked the inside of the fuselage. I will probably have to build a new front end cutting out the fuel soaked wood. ![]() Edited by ChrisS, Jun 28 2017, 07:18 AM.
