After following some sage advice on how to line up for a landing, the trees duly reached out and grabbed my plane before it had a chance to glimpse the runway. Fortunately our illustrious leader has recommended a local tree surgeon in the last newsletter, so I gave him a ring. What a nice chap! He came out the next day and scaled the offending tree like a simian on speed and had my plane down in double quick time. Thanks to Norman for the recommendation, and I can only concur as he is an asset to the club. |

Sage advice number 1; On the approach aim the model towards yourself, use the rudder's primary effect by yawing to make slight corrections. Sage advice number 2; Do not fly into the top of trees. |
