Container Security

I was at the field today to get an item of mine from the container. Although the container was padlocked the two locking bars were not fully in place so the door was not fully seated.

This needs to be done in a certain way, the right hand bar needs to be engaged and turned about 75% of its travel before the left hand bar is engaged, they are then fully pushed home and the swivel latches swung over. It can take a bit of effort.

Could container keyholders ensure the locking bars are fully in place, I will be happy to demonstrate the process if anyone is unsure.

I am hopeful that it was just a case of incorrect locking but if not "The Borrowers" could be back. If anyone reading this had difficulty please let me know as I can eliminate a possible hostile act by persons unknown.

Went along to the field again today and there is no sign of tampering with the container door bars. If anyone reading this did not shut the doors correctly please let me know. We are not looking for the culprit to have a go at them just to know if it was a member or "The Borrowers". We can do a little bit if refresher training on closing the tricky doors. :X
