We have started a Whatsapp group for members of felbridge flying club. This is a very quick and easy way for members to keep in contact and hear about what is happening on a day to day basis in the form of short messages and pictures using your smart phone or tablets. Its a great way for members to get in contact with each other to meet up for training or simply for finding out who might be flying today, or what the weather and conditions are like at the field. You will need to download the free software Whatsapp to your device and then send me a message to my mobile ( find it on the forum ) that you would like to join the group. We have about 6 members on it at the moment and it is proving very useful. Any questions just ask.

I think this is discriminating against people like me who are too old and stupid to use a " smart phone "

Or people like me that are too parsimonious to buy a smart phone.

Can the club supply iPhones to members to use this service?
