True, but not what I am saying. I'm saying you should pick your favorite MCU movie, find out what storyline is behind it and read that trade. Just once. To see the difference. |

DC and Warner Bros. are being way too hasty though. Playing catch-up with their Batman v Superman movie, cramming it full of every character they can. It's going to be a god damn mess. Zack Snyder is no Joss Whedon. That film is going to be an unmitigated disaster. DC ought to stick to TV shows, that's where they thrive. Although Marvel is starting to edge their way into that now too. |

It's still comparing green to red. I have a greater appreciation for the cinematic art form than most. Which is part of the reason why I love the films. |

If they weren't trying to cram every one of their characters into it straight out of the gate then maybe it wouldn't be so bad. I'm mainly just interested in seeing how Ben Affleck does as Batman lol. |

Both can be appreciated. I'm not going to bother trying to convince you. |

Again, I'll see it before I pass judgement. I didn't think Heath Ledger would do well as the Joker tbh. |

I'm actually looking forward to seeing Affleck's Batman. I hated Bale's, lol. Affleck isn't the same guy he was in the early 2000's. He's an outstanding director and a solid actor now. He's probably going to be the only decent thing in that movie. |

Hard to say. Snyder has done surprisingly well with casting choices. I enjoyed Bale very much as Batman though and I like Cavell as Superman. |

Cavell is all right. Bale was a good Bruce Wayne but his Batman wasn't menacing enough. |

I enjoyed their approach. The Burton Batman will be a favorite of mine b/c I grew up with it, but looking back at it the over the topness of it I don't care for, at least not in comparison to the realistic approach of Nolan's Batman. |

I must honestly be the only one who enjoyed Kilmer's Bruce Wayne/Batman. |

Keaton's performance was better than Bale's. Kilmer's was basically just meh. Clooney's was the worst lol. |

Oh wait. That's right. I only like Batman Forever cause of Dick's introduction to the series. Chris O'Donnel was a great Robin to me. |

Also, I think Clooney could have been better if the entire movie hadn't been a punnerific parody of the '60s TV show without the BAM and SPLAT cue cards. |

Clooney just doesn't have the right persona for the role. Unless we're talking the campy version then yeah he'd be ideal lol. |

I think I read a pretty eccentric spread of comics, but here's some of my favorites, not necessarily in order. "Heroes" 1.) Iron Man 2.) Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) 3.) Cable 4.) Mega Man 5.) Rick Grimes "Anti-Heroes" 1.) Deadpool 2.) Moon Knight 3.) Spawn (Al Simmons) 4.) The Punisher 5.) Bishop "Villains" 1.) Thanos 2.) Harley Quinn 3.) Omega Red 4.) Neegan 5.) Carnage (Is it obvious enough that I like my villains psychotic?) |

Thanks, I figured I got a little bit of everything in there. I gotta say, I'm with ya when it comes to DC's plan of attack for their movies. I, of course, hope they're all great films, but I'm reluctant to think they will be. DC wants what Marvel has without putting the 10 years of prep into in. We'll see, but I'm apprehensive at best. |

That's exactly how I see it. They're playing catch-up but they're being too hasty. It's not going to work for them the same way it did for Marvel. Now what they could do is build their cinematic universe in their existing TV shows. They've already established Arrow and The Flash quite well. But apparently they don't want the two being connected. So that means a different Flash in the films I guess. Dumb. LOL. Marvel has no issues connecting their TV series meanwhile. |
