One of the types of movies that I like watching are Martial Arts movies. In one movie in Particular called Fist of Legend, starring Jet Li, there is a style of fighting that Jet Li's character uses that I can't accurately pinpoint. It's the one he uses at the end when he fight the the General dude, Fujita. It looks somewhat like Kickboxing, somewhat like Keet Jun Do and other things. Does anyone here know what it actually is? For reference I put the final fight below. Jet Li's part starts at around 2:40. [utube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-pg-3MYYKo[/utube] |

Cool, I haven't been able to turn up much on it unfortunately. Maybe I'm just not searching the right things. |

This movie is difficult to pin down. It's a remake of fist of fury, a Bruce Lee film. He's purposely incorporating some of Bruce Lee's philosophy, which would be Jeet Kune Do. There are many direct relations to JKD, but it's hard to say exactly. Jet li is renowned for his Wushu mastery.. And various northern Chinese "long fist" styles. Sorry but this one is a doozey and I'm not an "expert". Good, but obviously I don't know everything lol. This being a remake with homages to Bruce Lee is kind of like mixing water with vinegar. |

Thanks for trying! I'll have to go with a mix of JKD and Kickboxing lol. Did you enjoy it at least? |

Yeah, it was a great movie. The shuffling of the feet is nicknamed the Ali shuffle. Bruce Lee incorporated it and Jet Li sorta over exaggerated it.. But still kicked ass lol. |
