Me again LoL. Yea so I already posted a topic for the Madden 08 modding community (if you are a Madden 08 pc gamer then go check that out) & now here is the pc baseball modding community link. On this site you will find mods for MVP baseball for pc (including updated rosters, stadiums, schedules, equipment (battling gloves, cleats, etc etc etc) Uniforms, basically everything to make the game look like it was a brand new release for PC every year. Same with the MLB 2k series you will find updated rosters, stadiums, schedules, equipment, uniforms, etc etc etc the hole nine yards! So if you don't already know about it then here is the link to MVP Mods community

I wanted to get into mlb 2K12 modding so badly a few years back, but mvpmods are ban happy. They never sent me an email to verify my account, and when I tried to re-create it, I was hit with a lifetime IP ban.

Ah damn man sorry to hear that :( If you like I can msg Kccitystar (one of the sites admins) or raidersbball20 (one of the site moderators) & explain that you never received the confirmation email & then when tried to register again got an IP ban. The IP ban was most likely because multiple accounts are not allowed on that site but if they are explained what happened then they should lift the IP ban.

Thanks! If you could that would be awesome. I'd really like to see what they've got going for mlb.

Oh, man! MVP '05 was totally my jam! I played sooo many hours on PSP and PS2. Those were the days. I'll have to check it out. I mod NHL 09 on PC and have been working on my own NCAA Hockey game for about 5 years now. Very niche sport, but definitely a passion of mine.

Thanks for sharing, I'll have to check it out.

Just go to the MVP Mods FB page & either message them or post on the FB page wall about the problem you have with registering & they should be able to take care of it for you dude. Here is the FB page link for the site https://www.facebook.com/mvpmods/ Seems there have been a lot of ppl who are having the same issue you did.

I was looking through their boards, it seems mods are either for MVP 05 or MLB 2K12. Which do you mod?

I am a MLB 2k12 pc guy LoL. I actually think MVP baseball is the best baseball series ever made & I use to rock the crap out of it every year on console. I didn't get into pc gaming until a few years ago (I made the switch from consoles LoL). By then there was no more MVP baseball on pc so I was stuck with MLB 2k12 pc. I would love MVP 05 on pc (the last MVP on pc) but the prices ppl want for it are insane man. The cheapest I have seen it for anytime I look on ebay or amazon is at least $100 & that is for a used copy LoL. I mean I love the MVP baseball series but not enough to pay $100+ for a used copy of an over 10 year old game that I won't even know if it even works until I get it & try playing it haha.

edit: haha I just decided to check for the heck of it on Amazon right now & this is what I found as far as the prices for MVP 05 pc right now...

5 new from $299.96 <--- the cheapest is $299.96 right now because it is in the middle of the MLB season LoL. People realize there is a modding community for MVP baseball & want to make as much money as they can selling the game to pc gamers :/

I don't always condone it (though I'm not always opposed to it), but it'd be best to find a torrent of it somewhere. $300 on a 10+ year old game is ridiculous.

I'll have to find a copy of 2K12 to see if I like it. I loved those games on my Xbox.
