OOC Note/Disclaimer- First match for me in over three years. Work sucks but bills must be paid you know? First of three, hopefully I'll find time to get my second up either tonight or tomorrow. Hope for a good match from PB. To all those who rp'ed so far good job...haven't had a chance to read them yet but can't wait to sit down and do so. This roleplay will have used swearing, will indulge in animal abuse(though I'm not for it), and other things many may find down right offensive...if you should be bothered please avoid my roleplay thanks. Also please realize things said and done in this roleplay are for my character and not in reflection of myself. [Foward-Chapter 3 Don't fratanize with a broken spirit]There's always a moment, a flickering glimpse of hope until it's shattered right in front of you. The cricket is right there in the hand for the taking until it closes on you. The light at the end of the tunnel seems so close until you fall deeper and deeper from it. Monday night a young man not battle tested in the HCW will step foot in a cell with one of the most mythodical men to ever grace the presence of HCW. A man that once had hopes and dreams to only have them crushed. A man that is taking what he wants, and showing the world that being different is an advantage. These two men will be locked in together to find out who will come out on top. What happens when experience meets hope? *woof woof* the sounds of barking everywhere. The smell of wet fur flows in the air. The barking gets louder, and the pattering of paws on the floor becomes clear. Dogs bundled together in cages scale the hallway, dogs of all different sizes are together. A man in a black uniform comes by with a noticable limp, he's lugging a large white sack behind him. The man steps in behind a dog cage, reaches into the sack, and drops dog food in a couple of dog bowls. The larger alpha dogs push the others out of the way and grab the food. The man pushes some of the bigger dogs back to allow the smaller ones to get food too. A voice familiar to many can be heard piercing the scene. ' The Tormented Soul ' Matthew Davis: What are you doing? The man shoots straight up seemingly startled, he catches up with himself. He looks at Matthew, gives a bit of a smirk, and responds. ' The Dog Man ' Jason Harp:You sure gave me a shock, whatcha mean what am I doing? I thought it looked self explanitory. But I guess not. I'm feeding the dogs for the night. ' The Tormented Soul ' Matthew Davis: No shit? I'm talking about shoving the bigger dogs, why would you push the dogs back? ' The Dog Man ' Jason Harp:Well if I didn't these other dogs wouldn't get any food and would die. ' The Tormented Soul ' Matthew Davis:Well then let them die, or move the dogs to a different cage. Just because they're locked up the rules of survival shouldn't matter? It's all part of life, the strongest will survive. If the dogs want food then let them work for it, let them figure out how to get it. You can't just coax them along in life, you have to feed them to the wolves and let them figure out how to make it; if they can't take what they want then let them die. ' The Dog Man ' Jason Harp:Kind of a morbid way of seeing things wouldn't you say? ' The Tormented Soul ' Matthew Davis:No. ' The Dog Man ' Jason Harp:I think you'd be in the minority. ' The Tormented Soul ' Matthew Davis:That's how it's been my whole life. But for once I'm not alone in how I feel. Do you believe in God? ' The Dog Man ' Jason Harp:What does that have to do with anything? ' The Tormented Soul ' Matthew Davis:You said I was in the minority, but once again the minority is the right way to go. Do you believe in God? ' The Dog Man ' Jason Harp:Well if you must know, I absolutely do. Go to church every Sunday mornin', and every Sunday night. ' The Tormented Soul ' Matthew Davis:So then how can you feel I'm morbid? Your God was the one that made things the way they are, he was the one that bred animals and humans in their own right to fight for what they want...to do whatever it takes to survive. Who are you to deny your own God of what he put into place? ' The Dog Man ' Jason Harp:I...I...I'm not I'm just giving all the dogs a fair chance to get a bit of food. That's the ri... ' The Tormented Soul ' Matthew Davis:The fair shot was dropping the damn food. Each dog can get the food, if they don't let them starve. The oppertunity is out there, all they have to do is reach for it and grab it. There's always going to be mountains, it's your job to obtain it. And when you reach that mountain that you just can't climb, your time is up...you realize that hope is just a false feeling in life. And if you're lucky enough to realize the mountain is unclimbable you go and try to find some other way to get where and get what you want. ' The Dog Man ' Jason Harp:Sounds like you're not talking about the puppies anymore kid. Rough life growing up? ' The Tormented Soul ' Matthew Davis:My life has always been rough, and it's still rough. I was like those damn little dogs, I saw what I wanted but everyone stood in my way. But I didn't have people come along and give me a handout, I did it on my own. What I wanted, I took. I forced my way through a tough situation and got what I wanted. It's a lesson I'm going to be teaching someone very soon come Monday. ' The Dog Man ' Jason Harp:Hey I thought I knew you, you're gonna be facing Pitbull in the Jailcell match. Why would you do that to yourself? ' The Tormented Soul ' Matthew Davis:Because someone needs to teach the kid how to battle for the food. But a more important lesson...someone's gotta teach the kid there's certain mountains that you can't overcome. You're right, I'm putting myself on the line, but it's for a bigger cause. Something that's bigger than I am, I'm just the prophet for the abnormal. I'm out to prove that it's not always best to be like everyone else. And my first stop is to rid the thought that getting things to go your way is just going to come in a handout. Matthew kicks the cage and teases one of the puppies, the dog's eyes are watery and wide eyed. ' The Dog Man ' Jason Harp:Don't do that, who does that... ' The Tormented Soul ' Matthew Davis:Someone who tastes freedom, someone who knows what it's like to be locked down and out. Someone who's about to step back inside a cell and break the spirit of someone from the inside out. Someone that enjoys causing pain on others, the way that I experienced it. Someone who had to work to get out. It's not fun on the inside, it's not easy, it's not a special moment. It's literally hell, it'll be the worst moments of your life. You walk in and hear the sound of a door slam shut and watch what little part of your life you enjoyed flash in front of you. The pain you suffer is mental but for Pitbull this Monday night it's going to be both mental and physical. He's going to earn his stripes. He'll experience what only one other man has experienced...he's going to have his spirit broken when he realizes there's no escape. He's going to be crawling towards the light only to have me pull him back as he digs his nails into the ground but to no use. This Monday I'm going to train this dog into submission. Matthew laughs a little as the dog handler looks on. Matthew pulls a cigerette and lighter out of his pocket, he lights it. Matthew takes a puff and walks out of sight. |

OOC NOTE/DISCLAIMER- I hope you enjoyed the first, this is my second roleplay. Pitbull had asked a question of how we roleplay around here. Someone had answered his question but I thought I would show him a couple ways it could be done. The first roleplay was in 3rd person, but I'm going to try this roleplay in 1st person....please bare with me as I normally stay in the realm of 3rd person roleplays. Hope to see something from you soon PB, good luck. There may be some abrasive comments as well as swearing involved within. So if you're easly offended avoid this roleplay. And now without further adieu... ((Beep...beep...beep)) It's that time already, it's time for another day full of troubles and disappointment. No not today...today I'm not going to deal with it. ((Beep...beep...beep)) Would that damn thing just stop going off. I don't get it? If I didn't hit it the first time it rang why would it continue...it's not that I forgot about it, I just don't give a hell. ((Beep...beep...beep)) Ok fine I'll get up, are you happy now? ((Thud from fist meeting alarm clock)) Sometimes I wonder why I get up in the morning, there's days when I wonder why I go on day after day to only suffer. And then I remind myself that I do it to pave the way to make things easier for those like me. The ones that were never picked...but picked on. I do it because I'm one of todays modern activists, but unlike Martin Luther and his plan for peace and prosperity...I preach do what it takes to get what you need. That type of philosophy has gotten me to where I am today. //Stumbling out of bed with a small noticable limp from a few years ago. Beginning to walk through the bedroom door, nothing on the walls but peeling white paint.\\ ((Snap...crack...pop)) //The sound of the body crackling with every footstep\\ Though the feeling of quit continues to flow in my veins with every movent. What it'd be like to just lay down and roll over. Take the easy way out. No...what would happen to all those that depend on me? No...I have to show the way to the promised land. All the adverisites I've over come, one day I'll be an inspiration to others, one day my name will go down in history for making things for the better. FUCK! //Grabbing the knee that was broken, dropping down in wincing pain.\\ It's times like these, that I get a quaint reminder of whom I despise most. He's the reason I came back, he's the reason I don't listen to the naysayers when they said I shouldn't go on. They actually had the nerve to say I'd be washed up, that I couldn't do what I once did. In just a few days it's my chance to prove them all wrong. Their eyes will be glued to me, still judging me, still disapproving of every choice I make. One day they'll learn that you should never count me out. //Reaching up the wall grabbing hold to pull up, finally getting all the way up. Further walking grabbing hold of a pack of cigerettes, lighting one and taking a puff.\\ Then you have to think, what if they're right? What if I do fail? God I have to get those thoughts out of my mind. I can't have any doubt walking into battle. I'm better than that, I'm too strong to deny my own strengths. I can't let those who don't fit into the media's version of Ken and Barbie down. They look up to me, I need to be their voice. I have to be damnit. Who's going to look out for them if I don't? //Taking another puff from the cigerette, resting head and hands first against the wall.\\ ((THUD)) //Fist first slamming against the wall.\\ My health was brought into question, how could I withstand a match that would make the bravest of men shy away from. A sinister place where no one escapse but only gives into it's misery. A vile trap for anyone that steps into it's unalluring presence. Where the humane laws of love, charity, and compassion no longer apply. I know what it's like to be inside, and I know what I'm getting myself into. If only they could understand. But who am I to kid myself, they've never understood me. The docters...they actually acted as if they genuinely cared about me, but you could see through their bullshit. I'm just another dollar to them. I'm just another body. //Putting the cigerette out on the wall, flicks the butt into a trashcan.\\ This Monday when everything is said and done, the smoke rises, and so on and so forth...all the nonsense those sentimental boys talk about the doubts will finally be put to rest. Not only from the outside but within my own soul. Monday night the man hits the restart button and begins his legacy all over again. Monday will be a day in the return of destiny...MY DESTINY. |
