Character and Technique Progression:

Reiatsu Rank
In BRP a characters skill is denoted by their reiatsu rank [1]. No other ranking, title, or statistic is indicative of a characters skill outside of aesthetic means. Reiatsu ranks are represented by the letters E-rank, D-rank, C-rank, B-rank, A-rank, and S-rank, in ascending order. The higher a characters reiatsu rank, the higher a characters skill is. Reiatsu rank is not to be confused with region/group rank, which, even though they may sometimes correlate, does not relate to a characters skill.
  • E-Rank → D-Rank: Being active in scenes for two days.
  • D-Rank → C-Rank: Being active in scenes for an additional three days.
  • C-Rank → B-Rank: Being active in scenes for an additional seven days (one week).
  • B-Rank → A-Rank: Being active in scenes for an additional fourteen days (two weeks).
  • A-Rank → S-Rank: Being active in scenes for an additional twenty-one days (three weeks).
Excessive Scening: Excessive scening will allow you to rank up faster if approved by a staff member. The more scenes you do a day, the closer your validation to getting two (2) days early for a rank up will be allowed. A moderator and admin will judge if you scened enough to be permitted to obtain a higher reiatsu ranking. THERE IS NO EARLY C-RANK.

Abilities
Here in BRP, Shikai can only be obtained when obtaining C-Rank while progressing your character. Shikai takes three (3) days to learn and must be learned before you can advance further into your progression. Bankai can be obtained at B-Rank and will take five (5) days to learn when you're progressing your character. Each Shikai and Bankai will be checked through peoples bios and evaluated by a moderator. Once approved, they can be used In Character. The same basis goes through for example, resurrection with an espada, to where their forms are built as they progress their character and recieve a higher known ranking involving their Reiatsu.

Technique Limitations
In International Bleach Roleplay, when making a character you must progress your techniques depending on what rank you are. Because of that, there is a limitation on how many techniques you can learn, depending on what rank you start in. Each technique must be learned through IC means, and you can learn up to three techniques a day. Each technique takes a considerable amount of days to learn. You can learn a variety of techniques dependent on your archetype within your biography.

  • E-Rank — 1 C-Ranked Technique or 3 D-Ranked Techniques → 5 E-Ranked Techniques → No Unlimited Techniques
  • D-Rank — 1 B-Ranked Technique or 3 C-Ranked Techniques → 5 D-Ranked Techniques → Unlimited E-Ranked Techniques
  • C-Rank — 1 A-Ranked Technique or 3 B-Ranked Techniques → 5 C-Ranked Techniques → Unlimited D-Ranked Techniques
  • B-Rank — 1 S-Ranked Technique or 3 A-Ranked Techniques → 5 B-Ranked Techniques → Unlimited C-Ranked Techniques
  • A-Rank — 3 S-Ranked Techniques → 5 A-Ranked Techniques → Unlimited B-Ranked Techniques
  • S-Rank — 5 S-Ranked Techniques → Unlimited A-Ranked Techniques

  • E-Rank — 1 C-Ranked Technique → 3 D-Ranked Techniques → 5 E-Ranked Techniques → No Unlimited Techniques
  • D-Rank — 1 B-Ranked Technique → 4 C-Ranked Techniques → 8 D-Ranked Techniques → Unlimited E-Ranked Techniques
  • C-Rank — 1 A-Ranked Technique → 4 B-Ranked Techniques → 9 C-Ranked Techniques → Unlimited D-Ranked Techniques
  • B-Rank — 1 S-Ranked Technique → 4 A-Ranked Techniques → 9 B-Ranked Techniques → Unlimited C-Ranked Techniques
  • A-Rank — 4 S-Ranked Techniques → 9 A-Ranked Techniques → Unlimited B-Ranked Techniques
  • S-Rank — 9 S-Ranked Techniques → Unlimited A-Ranked Techniques

Each technique are shown within the guideline which you can see here and depending on what your archetypes are, you can learn techniques variant under them. Some techniques might not be placed up there due to the staff, but they will tell you what it varies on because within the Bleach Wiki there are techniques where they are not ranked accordingly. To avoid further confusion, you are welcome to ask any staff and they will help you through your progression throughout your biography.

NOTE: For those who are confused. The progression is also stated like this, depending on your mastery of an ability/archetype. The progression in regarding ranks are also known for what is stated in the Bleach Wiki which you can see here for more details.

  • E-Rank → Below Basic Spirtual Energy
  • D-Rank → Basic Spiritual Energy
  • C-Rank → Average Spiritual Energy
  • B-Rank → High Spiritual Energy
  • A-Rank → Great Spiritual Energy
  • S-Rank → Immense Spiritual Energy

As for those who are wondering about Hollow progression, please see here for more details. Also for those who ask about Arrancars, they are created IC wise and can only be created after a Hollow has obtained B-Rank that they are able to become one. Because Hollows are created IC and can start off with Cero or Bala archetypes which you can see here for more details, you can start using bala and cero at C-Rank. We will rank these techniques soon and will post them up for all of you to see once finished discussing it with staff.

Each technique has a required amount of days to learn whatever technique you wish to learn dependent on rank.
  • E-Rank — E-Rank Technique: 2 Day → D-Rank Technique: 3 Days → C-Rank Technique: 4 Days → B-Rank Technique: 5 Days
  • D-Rank — E-Rank Technique: 1 Day → D-Rank Technique: 2 Days → C-Rank Technique: 3 Days → B-Rank Technique: 4 Days
  • C-Rank — D-Rank Technique: 1 Day → C-Rank Technique: 2 Days → B-Rank Technique: 3 Days → A-Rank Technique: 4 Days
  • B-Rank — C-Rank Technique: 1 Day → B-Rank Technique: 2 Days → A-Rank Technique: 3 Days → S-Rank Technique: 4 Days
  • A-Rank — B-Rank Technique: 1 Day → A-Rank Technique: 2 Days → S-Rank Technique: 3 Days
  • S-Rank — A-Rank Technique: 1 Day → S-Rank Technique: 2 Days

If you are a rank higher than the technique you wish to learn, you can learn them in one day due to being powerful enough to perform the techniques you wish to learn. You can learn up to 3 techniques at a time.
There is an optional choice which you can make that requires limiting from three techniques at a time, to one technique. If you decide to focus on one technique, your progression fastens and you can learn it faster than you normally would. The progression chart for that option would be one days faster than the normal progression rate.
