ALthough I have seen 47 on the Italian list, and Bicycle Thief is on most lists, the one I like best is Umberto D. But there are some SHORTS on this list if you want to get off the mark easily.
Peschereccio 1958 is less than 10 minutes and is on Youtube for example.

I don't follow lists I follow Genre's and Style of Films, but whenever I get close to finishing a list I just get those few movies checked in so I get an award.

Untouched
- Top 100 Bollywood Films
- Amanda Award Best Films
- Dutch Top Film 50
- Russian Guild Of Film Critics
- Golden Horses 100 Greatest Chinese Language Films
- Nederland's Film Festival
- 100 Korean Films
- The Best Chinese Motion Picture
- Criterion's Eclipse Collection
- TV Mini-Series
- 101 Films and 1 Country, Italy
- 100 Korean Film Masterpieces
- Live journal Russian Top 100

Excuses

- My Only Language is English. Generally I Have to sit and focus If I wish to watch a foreign Language film, while most of the time I multitask with Homework and such while watching a movie, watching it in English is easier.
- I hate the concept of Mini-Series. It goes against by definition of Film therefore I don't consider it a film. Don't watch them
- I'm still trying to get through the Classics. I've been a member on ICM since September 2011 and Only Interested in Movies Since August 2011, getting through classics take ALONG time to see. Only as I Type this have a got around to watching "The Philadelphia Story" and only earlier Today "American Graffiti
- Don't Have Time. Like I Wrote, Only a member since September 2009 (beginning of School) Hopefully in the Summer months of June-August will I have enough time to get through some lists. I'm really interested in Starting the Criterion Eclipse Collection

I really want to get on to watching that for about 2 years already  I'll try watching it this summer hopefully.

Recently GCSE Edexcel (My Exam Board) made a mess of the Exam Time Table. I have 6 Final Exams in the upcoming week and the Timings only came out two week ago. Fitting times for movie watching just got harder.

Thought the Amanda Award was an Alaskan award at first. Don't know why.

I intend to watch films on that list. It's just...access and interest tend to play a part in my watching films. ^_^

Apart fom the ones that most list here (Amanda, Fespaco, Korean, Bollywood) I also have 0 checks on Criterion Eclipse and (surprisingly) 250 Quintessential Noir Films. If it hadn't been for M last week I'd also have 0 on the IMDb Noir list. I still don't really understand what the genre even is so I'll just have to watch some more.

You need to watch Eggs - by the same director as Kitchen Stories. It's quirky as hell and I'm sure you're gonna love it.

Well, it did feel a bit like a collection of greatest sport movie clichés and I thought over three and a half hours runtime was a bit excessive, but I still liked it. 8/10

Trying to watch a few more on the original Korean list this weekend and hope the few I've chosen aren't representative of the quality of the rest of the list.

The worst offender was Gyeongmajang ganeun kil AKA Road to the Racetrack. It was two and a half hours of circular conversation by two insufferable characters. I felt like it would never end and they deserved each other. The Day The Pig Fell Into the Well was a little pretentious, but I could admire what was trying to be accomplished.

I feel like South Korean cinema has really skyrocketed to the forefront of world cinema in the last decade with the work of Ki-duk Kim, Joon-ho Bong and Jee-woon Kim to name a few, so it's real upsetting to see the lackluster 1990 efforts regarded at "masterpieces". I mean, most of these movies that I've seen on the list so far seem to come out of the same camp of discontented society, spiritual decay and difficulty of intimacy, but a few true auteurs have really turned these themes into strong statements in the last decade while I feel these "100 Korean Masterpieces" were grasping at straws.

Of course, I still have a very small test sampling so this might be very unfair.

100 Korean Films
FESPACO
Amanda Award
Top 100 Bollywood Films

Until a couple of days ago I also had zero checks on the IMDb 1910s list, but now finally I watched a couple of 1910s features and plan to watch several more. Of those four lists that I haven't yet touched the Korean one is the most interesting. The Bollywood list, on the other hand, doesn't interest me at all, but I should probably watch something from it too.

I want to see King of Devil's Island so that'd be Amanda sorted.
And I want to see Lagaan so that's Bollywood.
I like modern Korean films but the Korea list is total mystery to me - haven't heard of one of them, ditto Fespaco.

Why do so many people have 0 checks on the Korean list? :(

I recommend starting with Obaltan, Hanyo, Why Has Bodhi-Dharma Left for the East?, and Seopyeonje.
