Page 1 - Introduction and Keira Get to know your Professors!I mean, 7 years with the Professors won't be a walk in the park unless you get to know them better! Luckily, I managed to catch up with some "Lucky" Professors who were kind enough to spill the beans to all you fellow students! What's so hard about liking members of Staff?

Jacob Rosenthal: Hello there!
Alicia Nargle: Hi.
JR: Ok so firstly, tell us a bit about yourself!
AN: I'm Professor Nargle. I'm thirty-five years old and I am currently married to the Head of Department of Astronomy. I teach Ancient Runes to all the lovely students and run the department here at Hogwarts. I'm quite an introvert person, and I do not smile often. Some students find me intimidating and 'scary', they are right to think that way.
JR: How long have you had the position of HoDoAR? What gave you the inspiration to go for it?
AN: I have been Head of Department for 9 months now.. and I am not too sure really. I applied for Professor whilst Imica was the Head of Department, she left, another male Professor got the position after her.. and dropped it. I then applied for it seeing as I was the only one left in the department really. I don't think I had an inspiration, I just didn't want to see our lovely department go down-hill. So I decided to take things into my own hands.
JR: What do you love and hate to see as a Professor of Ancient Runes?
AN: love seeing students getting interested in my subject, trying their hardest on the homework, asking questions, seeing me for private tutoring; anything like that really. I hate seeing badly behaved students and students that instantly call my subject, or any other for that matter; boring. Especially when they have not even got to know it, before judging it. Don't judge a book by it's cover, ey?
JR: What is the best thing about being a Professor?
AN: I like the authority.. but teaching has to be the best thing.
JR: Ancient Runes has always been a tricky subject for most people. Why do you think this is? How can you make it easier for them to learn?
AN: It is not actually that hard to learn, I mean at first when you are flooded with lectures, yes it can be a bit difficult.. but if you came to see me one to one, then I can easily teach you the basics. All you have to do is pay attention! Lesson plans are just stretched out a bit.. I can give half an hour tutoring sessions to learn, well, almost the whole of the curriculum. I'd advise people to at least give it a try. I mean, what's so hard about an alphabet? -She says with a wink-
JR: And lastly, where do you see yourself in around 1-2 years?
AN: Hmm.. not sure. I could still be here, I may retire. Who knows to be honest? It's a whole big world out there.
JR: Thank you so much for speaking to me!

Chantelle Orion: Hello!
JR: Ok so firstly, tell us a bit about yourself!
CO: I'm Chantelle Orion, also known as Professor Orion. My home town is Doncaster in England. I'm half-blood. My dad was a wizard and my mum was a muggle. My mum didn't mind if I was a wizard. She was surprised. My dad is a wizard. So yeah, I'm a half-blood.
JR: How long have you been a professor, and how did you feel when you were accepted?
CO: Well, I been a trial professor for 12 days. I felt amazed and happy that I was accepted. I started planning my lessons so i can be organised like the rest of my department. I was really happy when i got accepted.
JR: Now we all realise you're new to the Hogwarts Staff Team, but do you think you've got the experience?
CO: Yes, I think I have a bit of experience because I used to be a Nurse and I always checked daily on the staff room so I know what will happen soon and hope to do it. I know the Hogwarts Staff is nice so, I can ask them a question and hopefully they answer.
JR: How much does it mean to you to be a Professor at Hogwarts?
CO: It means a lot to me. I always wanted to help students and develop their skills in learning. While I was still a student I always showed new students around my school. So helping students and others will help me develop my skills also.
JR: Out of all the subjects in Hogwarts, what made you want to go for Astronomy?
CO: Hmm... I always like Astronomy and their department was well organised. Joining the Astronomy Department can also help me and I could learn more things. Becoming an Astronomy Professor was my first aim when I joined Hogwarts. The members in the department are really active as well, which means the Astronomy Department is active.
JR: And lastly, where do you see yourself in around 1-2 years?
CO: Well, right now, I see my self Head of Astronomy and a Senior Staff. That will also be my goals to my close future.

Fiore Marvelour-Black: Hello there.
JR: Ok so firstly, tell us a bit about yourself!
FMB: My name's Fiore, Fiore Marvelour-Black; my maiden name is Weasley. I'm 29, and I'm a Care of Magical Creatures professor. I've got two children- Serafina and Cyrus and I'm married to Cason Marvelour-Black. I love reading, singing and teaching. My favorite book is Why I Didn't Die When the Augurey Cried by Gulliver Pokeby.
JR: How long have you been a CoMC professor? Why did you really aim to get there?
FMB: I've been a professor for seven years now. As a student, I loved this subject. I loved being around fascinating, beautiful and weird creatures. Being a Care of Magical Creatures professor was my dream job, since I attended my first class.. which was many years ago.
JR: What do you love and hate to see as a professor of Care of Magical Creatures?
FMB: There is nothing I hate about being a CoMC professor! It's what I've always wished to be, so I'm pretty happy with everything.
JR: Ok, that's fine! But what is the best thing about being a professor?
FMB: The best thing about being a professor is the teaching! The interaction with students, and all that stuff. I absolutely love this subject, and to teach it to blooming witches and wizards is really fun.
JR: CoMC is a very practical lesson! But is it all about having fun with the creatures, or do you prefer teaching seriously and sophisticatedly?
FMB: Not really. I like keeping the class in a jolly mood, unlike Professor Ravenscr- um. Never mind that. In my classes, I like to keep the theory short and get on with the practicals- the fun part.
JR: And lastly, where do you see yourself in around 1-2 years?
FMB: hh. Not sure about that, but. I think the Head of Department? Dunno'. I think I'll stick to professor.

Seyed Kevin Raoofi Finnigan: -Bowing down to you with a serious face-
JR: Ok so firstly, tell us a bit about yourself!
SKRF: Professor Finnigan. Proud part troll and a talented and highly respected professor at Hogwarts. Current champion of wizard Minesweeper and muggle ping-pong. FIFA-world cup football player - yep, on my X-box - and I do paper rounds during the summer, and I can land the newspapers right on the doormat every time. Oh, and I can touch my nose with my tongue. That's just an example of how talented I am.
JR: Um.. How long have you been an ordinary professor? Are you aiming to become a HoD?
SKRF: A year and a half. Ah yes, I hope to be a HoD one day. Higher salary, you see. My current HoD doesn't pay me very well. With the pittance he pays me, I've had to cut down on how many baths I have and only pay for IMPORTANT things... like Batman comics.
JR: Err... What do you love and hate to see as a professor of DADA?
SKRF: I just love knowing I've made a difference at the end of every class. And to the children. The wonderful, innocent children of Hogwarts. I make sure they learn in a safe, secure environment. I mean, I've only had TWO students die in my classes so far! Oh, and one lost an eye, but it's okay, I made him a new one out of plasticine. There's only one thing I hate about being a professor: when nobody passes the gravy at dinner.
JR: Erm. After the recent death of the last HoD, people were shifting the blame onto you. Would you like to address these rumours now?
SKRF: Ah, now I'm glad you asked that. I'd like the students to know that I DIDN'T murder him. I mean, yes, we part trolls tend to lose our temper and go on a rampage sometimes, and then forget about it a few minutes later, but that doesn't mean I killed him, does it? And I know I was arguing with the HoD - all week, in fact - and yes, I was the last to see him alive, and yes, I did follow him to the place he was found dead, but apart from that, there's no reason to believe I killed him!"
JR: And lastly, where do you see yourself in around 1-2 years at Hogwarts?
SKRF: I see myself - if not Headmaster - making more of a difference to the children. I'm hopefully going to start up a fitness club, getting everyone fit and in shape like me. I'm also shocked at how everyone seems to think trolls are violent and non-intellectual creatures, so I shall be bringing some of my troll relatives from Scandinavia to Hogwarts to prove to everyone how humble they are. Great, great creatures, we can learn a lot from trolls. In the future, I also may consider marriage, so get in line, ladies!
JR: Great... ; I guess Trolls are just bonkers. ;;
SKRF: Sorry?
JR: Thanks a lot for letting me speak to you today!
SKRF: Oh, always a pleasure. They'll be wanting to write a biography about me soon, I suppose. I have to get used to all the popularity.

Lilina Golgotha: Hello.
JR: Ok so firstly, tell us a bit about yourself!
LG: Well theres a lot about me but I'll go over the basics. I'm a past minister (40 years), auror, and devoted Gryffindor. My father is Oliver Golgotha, past minister, headmaster, and sadly dark lord, my mother is Clary Bones Golgotha, she died when I was just a kid. I'm 1/4th dwarf, so I'm rather short, I'm also a meta with the natural blue Golgotha hair. I am long time married to my husband Mark Frenlore, who I had one son with, Isaac Frenlore, who is now dead, and a grandson, Leo Frenlore who is basically like my son. I'm very devoted to my family both Golgotha and Frenlore side. I helped raised most the Frenlores including our current minister Davos Frenlore, who lived with me when he was growing up and Violette Frenlore and her children. I guess if you would like to know more about me, I have a biography.
JR: How long have you been a professor of Dueling here at Hogwarts? What made you want the position so much?
LG: Couple of months, I wanted the position because I wanted to teach dueling to a wider varity of people, plus I wanted to try my hand at teaching and be closer to family.
JR: What do you love and hate to see as a professor of Dueling?
LG: I love seeing students use unique spells I teach them, I also love it when students ask me questions about dueling outside of class. I just like answering dueling questions in general. I HATE to see people use stupefy and spam one hit wonders. I will tell off students for using these spells (I banned aurors from using them until they disarmed a person in a duel during my term as head auror and minister). I greatly dislike the use of one hit wonders.
JR: Would you be able to safely say that you are a master at Dueling? Why do you love it so much and how did you become so great?
LG: I'd say I'm a master at dueling creatively, not so much on the speed side though. I love dueling because it can be very fun and I enjoy trying new things on people, and surprising them with all sorts of spells (plus sadly its the only way dad and I "bond" these days). I became good at it as a kid cause my dad pushed me at it and I didn't want to let him down. Also Golgothas used to be kidnapped a lot, so I needed to learn how to duel out of my own safety. After being an mle, auror, head auror, and minister over a span of 40 years, I've had a lot of practice with dueling (I've trained many aurors) and practice honestly DOES make perfect. Plus you get better when its either duel well or die, its a good motivater.
JR: And lastly, where do you see yourself in around 1-2 years?
LG: Probably still being a professor. Either that or in full retirement, I've been minister and auror for a long time, so it's time to relax now.
