"Educate and inform the people: they are the surest hope in the preservation of our Empire." — Grand Admiral Raan Drekker

| GENERAL INFORMATION |

| LEADERSHIP: Senate Select Committee | HEADQUARTERS: Galactic City, Imperial Center. | LOCATIONS: All across the galaxy. | | FOUNDATION: 19 ABY | FRAGMENTATION: 2014 ABY | RESTORATION: 2016 ABY |
| OVERVIEW |
|---|
The Commission for the Preservation of the New Order (or COMPNOR) is an umbrella organization with a composition of various political and military entities designed to maintain support for Emperor Anthony Belladar's liberalized New Order. The New Order, the underlying ideology of the Galactic Empire, is strongly supported and adhered to by COMPNOR. It criticizes the perception of decadence and weakness within the Republic, and advocated for an authoritative and militaristic social culture. The document emphasizes equality among all sentients and therefore sought the repeal and abolition of slavery laws; therefore making the composition of the Galactic Empire to not be culturally specific to humans.
Today COMPNOR has a foothold in every corner of society. It maintains jurisdictional overwatch of the Imperial Security Bureau, the primary Empire-affiliated internal security force, as a counterweight to Imperial Intelligence. Additionally the organization has placed its members placed throughout near every level of government, thus strengthening the Emperor's personal hold over the far-from-center political spheres under his domain. COMPNOR acts as a counter-balance to internal strife, maintaining cultural and youth groups throughout the galaxy. |

| STRUCTURING |
|---|
Select Committee The Select Committee is the executive body for COMPNOR. The Select Committee has a variable number of members, and the COMPNOR Charter provides for both electoral and honorary means of being named a member of the Select Committee.
Sub-Adult Group The Sub-Adult Group, or SAGroup, is COMPNOR's youth organization, and is made up of enthusiastic youths who firmly believe the New Order is the best regime for the galaxy, and devote their lives to upholding and respecting it.
Coalition for Progress The Coalition for Progress is an information-gathering agency of COMPNOR. It began as a weak cultural organization, understaffed, and underwhelming, but has developed into a massive information-gathering agency with monitors throughout the galaxy. It examines massive amounts of data, the majority of which is mundane, for indications of dissident or rebellious activity, and forwards summaries to the more-important Imperial Security Bureau.
Coalition for Improvements The Coalition for Improvements is a socio-political engineering agency of COMPNOR. It's assigned to improve systems which had deviated from the ideals of the New Order. These systems required long term solutions, and typically are intended to remain under the radar.
CompForce CompForce is the military wing of COMPNOR, created to provide the Emperor with an army of utterly loyal soldiers separate from the Stormtrooper Corps. CompForce units, in contrast, are embedded within the hierarchy of the Imperial Army and Imperial Navy, and their members are motivated primarily by conscious adherence to the tenets of the New Order. In theory they were shock troops and officer candidates; in effect, they were security forces and political police.
Imperial Security Bureau A part of COMPNOR charged with maintaining morale and loyalty among members of the military and government, as well as policing its citizens and internal affairs. |

Membership Citizens are highly encouraged to join COMPNOR. Members are given additional access to news, free subscriptions to popular feeds, and a specialty gift per five years of membership. Furthermore; while no one is truly aware of the total size of COMPNOR it is believed to be amongst the largest government agencies in the known galaxy, with private citizen registrations easily surpassing those of registered service members. |
