I first learned of Doctor Who when the movie came out (yes I'm old) but I only caught bits and pieces of it. Before I had a tumblr, I frequented the Geek category in Pinterest and was fully spoiled before even deciding to watch. I'm ashamed to say that I couldn't stick it out the first time, the Slitheen episodes are extremely hard for me to get through for some reason. Father's Day was the episode that decided my fate as a whovian. I finally did get to see all of the Doctor Who movie and I'm one of the weird ones who actually likes it. I squealed when the Eighth Doctor appeared in Night of the Doctor. Oh yes, I'm also on tumblr as lovestimelords. Edited by Lovestimelords, 17 Jul 2015, 01:11 AM.

Hello! I feel like we should be forming a club on people who joined the fandom because we got drawn in by Pinterest. ;D (aka veritascara and I both entered via that route as well apparently) But I'm with you on unashamedly loving the Doctor Who Movie. It's wonderful and cheesy and Paul McGann's wig is kind of awful but I don't even care. It's spectacular
