It revolves around Roxas, from his birth as a nobody to his abandonment of Organization XIII. A new mysterious character named Xion is introduced as the 14th member , a magic user and keyblade wielder. Riku returns as well, donning the blindfold and keeping an eye on the whereabouts of Organization XIII as they succeed in their mission of collecting hearts. The gameplay features 3D graphics in a style similar to those seen in the PlayStation 2 titles. Roxas is assigned missions on an in game day to day basis, usually partnered with another member of the Organization. Through this style of playing, the relationship Roxas shares with each of them is further explored. The key feature of this game is the multiplayer mode. The player will be able to hook up with up to 3 other friends via DS Wireless and choose from any of the 13 Organization members to compete in battle.
