This topic will tell you how a move resides in the game’s file You'll need + my anim editor.Download it here + Expert or my PAC Editor.Download it in Smackdown Vs Raw Series PS2 → Tutorials/Resources → Modding Tools → ALL SVR MODDING TOOLS AND PROGRAMS topic here + Hxd Hex Editor (or any Hex Editor).Download it in Smackdown Vs Raw Series PS2 → Tutorials/Resources → Modding Tools → ALL SVR MODDING TOOLS AND PROGRAMS topic here + My BPE File Tool.Download it here + Notepad++.Download it in the author's homepage It's good if you follow the tutorial step by step First, all the move animations are stored in the M.PAC file, you can extract M.PAC by using Expert Tool (/w DPAC plug in),after extracting you’ll have the following folders: Spoiler: click to toggle - Folders information: + CAF_ contains all Create A Finisher animations + MOT_ contains all animations type-A + MOTP contains all animations type-B + MVMT contains all animations for Create A Moveset. It’s either type-A or type-B depending on the game The next thing you need to do is extract all .PAC files in MVMT folder with Expert (/w PAC plugin) Next go to MOT_ and MOTP extract all D_0x.PAC files (x is a number) with Expert(/w PAC plugin).Note that older game use GAME.PAC Now let’s pick a move for analysis: I’ll choose “12 Step” Spoiler: click to toggle The control file for Create A Moveset is MISC.PAC,extract it using Expert (/w DPAC plugin),go to the MOVS folder, you’ll find WAZE.dat Spoiler: click to toggle Open my WAZE_GUI.exe or WAZE_gui.py,set the Game to “2011” then open WAZE.dat file Open up WAZE.dat in my editor and we know that 12 Steps’ ID is 13F5,double click it Spoiler: click to toggle Click “Scan”,save the scan result file, select the folder to scan “@M.PAC”,it’ll take a while to get the result and the program will freeze while scanning, don’t worry,it’s normal. Open the file result Spoiler: click to toggle - There are 5 locations where the animation can be found: + MOT_\RRxx.dat (Type-A Royal Rumble In game Match,xx in this case is 07) + MOTP_\RRxx.dat(Type-B Royal Rumble In game Match,xx in this case is 06) + MOT_\@Dxx.PAC\file0000yy.dat (Type-A In game Match,xx in this case is 00,yy is 06) + MOTP\@Dxx.PAC\file0000yy.dat (Type-B In game Match,xx in this case is 01,yy is 02) + MVMT\@zzzz.PAC\file0000yy.dat (Create a moveset Preview, zzzz in this case are SPE1 and STN2,yy are 00 and 00) [MVMT can have multiple files just like in this example] Because xx,yy, and zzzz will change ,it is a must to scan when you want to replace move animation or add custom animation into the game You’ll need Type-A animations for MOT_ and Type-B animations for MOTP.The MVMT folder contains an unknown animation type,in SVR 2006,2007,2010 it needs MOT_ animation but in SVR 2011 it needs MOTP • To scan,do the following: + Open WAZE_gui program and set the Game to ‘2011’ (or your game’s year),open your game’s WAZE.dat(how to extract this file is shown above) + Double click on the move you want to get its location + Click Scan + Choose a folder to scan the files, usually we choose “@M.PAC” of your game + Choose a file as output + Open the file, write down the move locations(location can be duplicated,in that case write only 1 of them) * PSP Move Information: - The YMKS structure is the same, the animation move is the same, the process for importing and exporting is the same, but there are some problem: The game developer really discourage modding on PSP.There are 2 versions of PSP I have known so far,the first has the MOT.PAC,the other doesn't have it. So,if you don't have MOT.PAC,edit M.PAC as normal. If you DO have MOT.PAC,edit that instead. Edited by eatrawmeat391, Oct 24 2016, 05:02 PM.
