It does seem like an annoyance that I am trapped in the school system until I reach 21 years old. It seems like an annoyance because I am working with students who are younger than me (I don't seem to know the real reason why). If I ever did make my way into college, I would fall behind and drop out because I went too late. I do know I am at the right age to plan my future, but my parents have a tough time agreeing with me. Do any of you guys have any thoughts on me still going to school until the age of 21? Is it worth the delay of my future? Do you think putting my future on hold was a bad idea? Please reply. UPDATE: After that crappy visit to UNC Greensboro's Beyond Academics and debating if Western Carolina University's UP program would benefit me, I decided to do something I had put in from the start-not go to college. I chose not to go to Appalachian, and it's not because my Foods One teacher hated it. And my father is right, I am not emotionally fit for college. Edited by Project2017, Jun 10 2017, 08:24 PM.
