Well, so much for El Nino. Looks like it has taken a break here in the United States and it has gotten cold (at least here in the Northern U.S.)! In fact, where I'm at, high temperatures this coming weekend are only predicted to be around 0 degrees (fahrenheit)!

So what are the weather conditions like where you're at? Has it cooled off, or are you in the midst of summer-like weather?

Heck, it's an unusually drafty January here. Everybody has jackets on as late as 9 o'clock in the morning.

No such problems here in sunny California. It isn't blistering hot like some people think but the coldest it's been out here lately is about 40 degrees farenheit at night and then around sixty to seventy during the day. This time of year makes it worth the cost of living in California, because at least we don't have to put up with the kind of cold that Luke deals with. :D

I do have somewhat of an idea what it's like to be in that kind of cold though. For two years I served as a missionary for my church in the province of Ontario right next to you, and let me tell ya, going outside in that kind of weather was not the most enjoyable thing for me. :freezing:

When my dad was in the navy we lived in Norfolk, Virginia. The cold there is a very WET cold. It rips through you like a sword. Snowed about twice a year, but only every other year for some reason. And lemme tell you, people don't know how to drive in the dry over there, so a few flakes drop on the ground and the streets are a mess.
('Course people don't know how to drive here either.)

We can’t both become the same pawn
That’s made to fall
Oil that tastes like
Blood steals the summer scent
From me to you
You’re stabbing me through you
You’re stabbing you through him
And betting most of
This world
We’ll add enough of the world
