Let's Get Writing!; season one episodes

Alright folks, so there are some details that need to be worked out for the episodes that will take place in season one. Hopefully we can wrap those up and start writing here soon. This is what we discussed once we "thought" the chat was over with. Acepilot was concerned about the fan fiction project's lack of activity as of late and would like to get started writing soon. So I propse this:

Why don't we finalize the episodes/storylines and character development that will take place in season one of our project. Once we have everything finalized for season one, then start dividing up writing assignments and have people begin writing.

Then we can continue working on the episodes and storylines for seasons 2 and 3 as we move along. That way we don't let the project go stagnant while we continue to hash out the details for seasons two and three.

Sound fair?

I think we discussed this already, but since I forgot, I'll ask again: How many episodes do you want to put into season 1? 10-15 or more?

I think 10 sounds reasonable for a project of this type. And I didn't mean to come across as rushing people or anything, I'm just worried for the project - as I noted in the chat transcripts area, I'm just worried all the planning and ambition for the project will get in the way of it actually being followed through. I'm not meaning to sound angry or selfish. I can't wait to see the project realised.

Since I don't know where else to ask this right now, I was wondering how and where we would critique each other's stories for additional input and all that. I ask this because I haven't been part of the FanFic chats very much lately and would like to get started writing one of the eps myself. This way, I can get ideas and constructive criticism along the way and all that.

I guess we should either e-mail or PM draft scripts to the other active project members, who will then read it, and it can be raised at the next chat, with anyone voicing things they feel need changing and these issues can be discussed as a group. Does that sound reasonable to everyone?

I have been contemplating creating a complete new section for this - where one board would dedicated for the submission of these scripts. Then people would be able to comment and provide critiques there. Personally, I think we are beginning to outgrow our current surroundings.

I couldn't agree more w/ you, Luke. Are sub-sub-boards possible, though? If not, I guess we can make this a whole board in the Fandom category...
