I doubt many in the United States are familar with this animated show. I know our friends up in Canada have seen this as it airs on CBC. We get CBC where I live since we are close to Canada, so I can say that I've seen this show. I tried looking up some clips on YouTube and only found one and it's only a promo. In fact, it's a promo from Australia's ABC1Kids. The show follows the adventures of a boy named Beanie and his evil goldfish named Admiral Bubbles. Admiral Bubbles isn't your typical goldfish by no means, as he continues to come up with plans for world domination. Despite the careful attempts by Beanie to keep AB in his goldfish tank, he always manages to escape. Then it's up to Beanie and a couple of his friends to thwart AB's attempts to take over the world. Of course his mother and teacher do not believe that AB is truly evil, so Beanie has to usually take on AB by himself (and with the help of his two friends, as I said earlier). This is actually a pretty decent animated toon. Sure, it has a pretty boring title but the premise is actually something that hasn't been tackled before. Who knew that an evil talking goldfish could prove to be so fun to watch. Here's the promo from ABC1kids in Australia: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOlY3BDBptY |

Somehow I think exactly the opposite, Kevin. Looks too minor of a cartoon for Nick to even try. |
