Peyton Manning Released; What will this mean for the NFL?

Anyone who follows the National Football League will have something to say about this. Peyton Manning is no longer a member of the Indianapolis Colts and will finish his career some place else, unfortunately (And I always figured he'd be a lifer with the Colts). He's been a class act in the middle of all this and not shown any hard feelings towards his former franchise, but now bigger questions arise: Who will he finish his career with? Will he still be an effective quarterback elsewhere? If so how long? The man is 35 years old now and didn't even play at all last season.

I can't believe the Broncos traded tebow away like that. The Broncos just mortgaged away their long term future as a result.

Oh, but the Tebow media-circus will resurface in the biggest media capital of the US, if not the entire world, New York. ;)

My biggest question of the Manning signing is if he will be as good with the Broncos as he was with the Colts. He will now play home games in an outside environment. And we all know that Denver is one of the most unpredictable weather cities in the US. I think I had heard that his record in outside venues is not nearly as good as those in a dome (which is pretty much a no-brainer). So, he will have to adjust. And hopefully his neck is healed heading into the new season.

Yeah that is another thing I hadn't thought of. If he does end up being not as good outdoors, then maybe it's a good thing the 49ers didn't end up with him after all!
