Latest from AA Roadwatch

Very wet road conditions in many parts, especially to the west of the country, leaving excess surface water, localised flooding and poor visibility in many parts. Motorists are advised to reduce speed, keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front, switch on your dipped headlights to improve visibility and be particularly mindful of pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists. *MAIN TRAFFIC* *KERRY* Coolcushlough Rd in Killarney is closed by the transfer station until at least Tuesday (8th) due to a burst embankment. Diversion signage is in place. *WICKLOW* On Mon 7th Feb, delays can be expected in Aughrim village because of a large removal service taking place at 6:30pm. The service will take place at the Church of Sacred Heart on Main St.
The coldest winter you will ever experience is a summer in West Clare.
