Image C/O Irish Times February 1986 remains one of the coldest February’s on record in many parts of the country. East winds set in towards the end of January 1986 which persisted without relent throughout following February. These winds were often strong which added a significant wind chill and frost occurred frequently regardless. MORE on IWO website |
