Temp 9°C down from high of 19°C (I don't know if my temp gauge's shield is inadequate or if it's the micro climate around me but this seems very high, although it was pretty warm in the garden today - any thoughts on this, I'm in a valley with the house facing east and valley side rising up in the west)

HI lostinashford it is 10.3 here now and our high was 15.3c - so it is possible for that high for you - fantastic for getting outdoors! enjoy for as long as we have it !!!

Of the official synoptic stations, Valentia reached a max of 18.6C today. Malin Head, on the other hand (and other end of the country!), was shrouded in sea fog all day and got to only 6.8C.
