Positive Weather Solutions have ceased trading. The agency and its director Jonathon Powell have been regularly quoted in Irish and British media in recent years for their long range forecast predictions. Incidentally, an interesting article on the Guardian website today
http://www.positiveweathersolutions.co.uk/

Statement - 2.26 p.m. - Wednesday January 22nd 2012

It is with regret that because of illness and the current economic climate, PWS has ceased trading.

All outstanding winter contracts will be fulfilled with refunds given to our Wedding Bells clients.

Thank you.

Kind Regards,

PWS Team
The coldest winter you will ever experience is a summer in West Clare.

Oops, I think you're right! It did seem strange that he would be up to something like that given his stance! h-e-h-e

Anyway, that's one less shower of charlatans we have to deal with.

There's also that James Madden fella who the Daily Mail used for their -20C in October headlines!

A bizarre story there though, can't imagine anyone who bought forecasts off them will be best pleased, surely a case to bring legal action?
