Not a bad day for parts of England |
| The coldest winter you will ever experience is a summer in West Clare. | |

Widespread warm-frontal shield over Ireland and Scotland, which has brought us our rain today. The long thin strip of cumulus cloud down from Wexford southwards towards Biscay is a convergence line between the High to the west and the low over southern Europe. Also visible are some contrails over northwestern England (Liverpool/Manchester area), which are persisting due to the increased upper relative humidity levels in that region (which has also generated the cirrus). |
