I'm not sure if the east will see much sleet or snow at all tomorrow evening, as the initial band of precipitation which will be arriving against the coldest airmass looks like being a fairly weak affair by the time it reaches the east. The cold front later Saturday looks like being fairly potent, with 10-20 mm rain totals possible, especially in the northern half of the country. |

Just after looking at Simon Keelings predictions for remainder of Feb... and is not looking good for Ireland re cold & snow... the remainder of Europe and England will see a reload, but Ireland seems to be out on its own in terms of remaining warm... stupid GFS and ECMWF models also supporting this :-( Tis so unfair!! |
