When was the last time you saw lying snow? Feel free to post any pics you might have.

The last time I had lying snow was on 13 Dec 2011. The depth was about 1cm and I made a snowman out of stone mixed slop.

The time before that was January 2010. I was in one of the few locations in Ireland not to see snow in Nov/Dec 2010.

Same here, last real snow was during the storm on Dec 13th which was probably the most interesting day of weather here in the past year with plenty of thunder, wind, hail, snow, rain etc. Didn't take any pics but here's a poor quality one from the previous week. Mostly a high ground event, pic taken around Fintown on Dec 5th

The last good snowfall in Letterkenny was last February where we got a surprise overnight dumping of close to 10cm that nobody forecast. Quite a shock to wake up to this considering I follow the weather so closely and wasn't expecting a thing!

Saw snow around middle of December 2011, only last few hours though but still had a nice bit. No pics to back it up though.
A rose must remain with the sun and the rain or its lovely promise won't come true.

Got a brief 10 minutes of wet snow in between rain a few weeks ago but nothing of note.
