Reached a low of -5.7 °C on my new station and -6.4 °C on the old one this morning. There was a very marked frost hollow in this area, as the temperature rose 5 degrees within 1 mile while driving from Newcastle to Rathcoole (beside Casement), which is a rise of around 40-50 metres. Temperature was around 0 °C at Rathcoole, with very little frost.

Currently running a degree or so lower than this time last night but there is some stratocumulus off to the east which may prevent the temperature falling lower than this morning.
