before you get to pirating or assassinating or plotting dominion over all man, you need to establish who you are first. here's how you do that.
- you don't have to finish your profile in one go. just put some variation of "wip" or "work in progress" in either the title or description fields so we know not to give feedback yet!
- canon characters and face claims should be reserved in their appropriate threads before beginning your profile.
- there are no minimum word counts for any field. however, you must have at least three sentences each in the personality and physical description fields, and at least a paragraph in the roleplay sample field.
- for original characters, you only have to fill the roleplay sample out the first time! for canon characters, you must fill out the roleplay sample whether you have other accepted characters or not.
- be sure to link to your other accepted profiles if you have any, to make it easier to keep track of who's who. the profile form makes this nice and easy for you!
- the character image is optional. just leave the template if you don't want it. if you use a picture of a real-life face claim, though, make sure you've already reserved them beforehand!
- characters must be at least 18 years of age, with the exception of deckhands/cabin boys, who may be as young as fifteen. characters under 18 may not be permitted to participate in certain events, though, so keep this in mind.
- if you have any questions, please refer to the sample profile, or don't hesitate to message a staff member!

welcome to ᴍᴏʀᴛᴀʟ ᴡᴀᴛᴇʀs! we're a shiny new rp site based off of both the pirates of the caribbean series and the fourth numbered game in ubisoft's assassin's creed series. they both revolve around pirates and ancient deities, so it's a pretty fluid crossover! you don't have to have played both in order to get the most out of the site -- they're similar enough that experience with one is quite enough to get the gist of the other.
take a look around, check out the rules and the character creation process, and don't hesitate to drop by the cbox if you have any questions!
