My reflections on Vietnam
I left Vietnam when I was 2 years old because of the war and I don't remember much. Now that I'm back, all I have to say is WOW! What a great country.
I learned so much about myself and my family. I have some rich relatives, but at the same time, poor ones living at different places. When I say poor, I mean REALLY poor. I felt so bad looking at how they lived, knowing that I've been living luxury almost all my life.
As for the rich ones, well...they have villas and several houses like my parents do.
Life in Vietnam is so different from the one that I'm used too. You see poor people all around the streets. I can't help giving them money, especially to the young ones begging. I didn't buy a lot of stuff for myself because I spent all my money on helping others. I don't know why, but it just felt right to do it.
What saddens me more is that I couldn't help them all...
I'm definitely coming back next year. I'm going to work through the year, save money and come back.

Just got off the phone with Uncle Yang
It was all
"Hey I'm on the toilet"
"Oh yeah? I'm wearing a towel myself"
