Are there people out there that honestly believe in Atlantis and I am not just talking about the people that are believe in anything because they are crazy because they honestly believe it really existed. On that note I would like to talk to those that believe in science or religion either or but are open to the thoughts of the other side with out too many negative comments, those those that believe that science won't do anything to really solve the problem unless they work together with religion. Those that believe that there are things that will never confirmed by any scientific investigation or mathematical equation or faith alone. If there are people like that here I would like to speak to you. I am tired of keeping my own thoughts to myself time and time again about Atlantis, alternative or parallell universes, modern alien encounters, lost knowledge and what not without here here the same thing every time "There is no real evidence", "It is very unlikely",
"That sounds too crazy to be true", "Where is your evidence?" and so on. If you have theories that are respectable about any thing that happened or will happen let me know about them too. It is always nice to share information.

It's not that. It's just that the groups aren't really used that much. A topic like this would probably fit well in "Religion & Philosophy"

this is more into philosophy.
there are limits that human couldnt reach.
and that limits called God's territory...

and evidences sometime are not answers,
because it just a matter of proof

I believe that humans shall become increasingly dependent upon humanity until one day a major blackout wipes out most of the species....

Just a theory though.

Edit:

Sorry about that. Major typo, but I guess that's what I get for posting at 1 in the morning. I meant to type this:

I believe that humans shall become increasingly dependent upon technology until one day a major blackout wipes out most of the species....

Oh goodness, here goes.

On the Soul ^ ^*

The creation
During the big bang, the earth was created right? Well along with the earth came particles that have the ability to help sustain life. These were the first fragments of a larger soul the earth itself has. As the earth began to develop, the particles did too, but a soul can only be so big, so they started to divide. We now have multiple souls floating around within the earths matter. The rocks, tree, grass, water, ect.

The begining of humanity
As you know, when man first stepped upon the earth, he was very primitive. He only knew basic survival. As he learned to survive, the soul absorbed all the knowledge he gained, every bit of it. You could say that when he learned something, the soul made a photocopy of the information and then stored it. Anyways, when this man died, the soul returned to the earth and would patiently wait until it found another body it was compatible with.

A little more technical now
As more humans sprang up, the more they evolved and the more the soul learned. When a person passes away, their soul returns to the earth with all the knowledge it had collected and when it finds a new compatible body, all the information from the previous body is carried with it to the new body. Because of the growing information, it would be far too much for the human mind to handle. this is where the subconcious comes in.

When a soul would find a new body, all the information it had collected is stored into the subconcious and the soul serves as a link between the two.

When a person is asleep or even unconcious the soul, the link, will allow only the smallest amount of information from the subconcious into our mind. It will only do this at these times because it's when our brains are least active/resting. When we're awake/concious our minds are much more active and cant handle anymore than it's already dealing with.

Because of the past generations behind us, we have been able to become as evolved as we are now because of all the past information that was gathered from the previous generations. Because people share emotions, feelings, thoughts, we are all connected. Our souls connect each other simply because they all function the same way.

If it breaks?
If the soul were to ever break that person would be instantly dead. The soul serves as a dam guarding the information within the subconcious from flooding our minds all at once. If that dam were to break, then the sudden rush would be so overwhelming that our human minds couldnt handle it. And because of our souls similair function to each other, they would all slowly start to break, one by one. They did all come from the same place afterall.

Why the planet is dying
Like I stated earlier, the soul was originally within the planet and the planet is now over populated with people. The current birth to death rate is somewhere around 4 to 1.5 when averaged out. Humanity is taking more souls from the earth faster than it can adapt.
