Another vegetable you guys should add to your list:

Kale
Quote:

Kale is very high in beta carotene, vitamin K, vitamin C, lutein, zeaxanthin, and reasonably rich in calcium. Kale, as with broccoli and other brassicas, contains sulforaphane (particularly when chopped or minced), a chemical with potent anti-cancer properties.[1] Boiling decreases the level of sulforaphane; however, steaming, microwaving, or stir frying do not result in significant loss.[2] Along with other brassica vegetables, kale is also a source of indole-3-carbinol, a chemical which boosts DNA repair in cells and appears to block the growth of cancer cells.[3][4] Kale is also a good source of carotenoids.[5]

Yeah I recently (2 weeks ago) pulled my hamstring. So getting cut just got ten times harder.

Or and Swiss chard is great for you too. Better than spinach! Tastes better too!

Abel:
I need you to tell me about complex carbs.
If you only eat them, can you gain weight/muscles? Someone told me no because they are only limited to burning fat.

Edit:
Hmm...why is this even an issue? Isn't the building blocks proteins? Or does complex carbs contain proteins as well?

Depending on what carby substance you're consuming can contain protein. But here's the thing; Complex carbs are carbs digested slowly, and the calorie count is saturated about only 30% of what you're eating. (As far as I know) As for simple carbs, they are digested faster, give you faster energy and are consumed a lot more. Like 90%. Complex carbs are good if you want to stay fuller, cut down calories, not gain a lot of fat. But the energy you get from it isnt as instant as a simple carb, nor will your body use as much of it's calories. A nutritionist told me that Simple carbs are good POST-workout, because they help give you a faster recovery since they can be consumed faster. They replenish the fats in your muscles which are vital for strength progression. And yeah, protein is your best friend, but you need your carbs if you want to maintain what you work for.
