This is my current glasses. Small and thin like my chinky eyes. I don't like wearing glasses.

This is how I look wearing glasses.

If you're not comfortable while wearing your glasses, you picked the wrong style! :biggringreen:

I went to the optician today and found these eyeglasses:

Gucci 1438
Posted Image

A bit pricey, $535.63... and that's just for the frame.
I also need to buy glasses for each eye and maybe take a new eyesight test.

Total: about $950 :aargh:

Edit:
Found them on Google. What shocks me most is the price difference... ~ $150-$170 is the online price...hmmmm....

Is it weird to buy them online, and then go to the optics and tell them that I got the frame and just want new glasses and a eyesight test...?

LOL, I don't know, I haven't been to the optometrist since I got glasses in the beginning of high school.

You can just lie and say you broke the lenses and want new ones, and might as well get an eye check while you're at it.

Obviously the price of the frames is ridiculous, but $400 for the exam and lenses???

When I wear glasses (rare) I look like this.

Alright, I placed an order online at:
http://www.go-optic.com

$210.95 for my Gucci 1438 eyeglasses.
(only the frame)

I did browse through a bunch of websites to check which websites could be trusted. Go-Optic.com wasn't the cheapest one, but the price was ok compared to the others and it seemed reliable enough. Don't go ALL CHEAPO when order online, always check other websites first.
The glasses should arrive within a week.

With the order, I also got 1 year's subscription for 4 magazines, but they charged extra for the shipping, so I said no :superhappy:

Also, make sure you measure the eyeglass dimensions (length, height etc. get this info from your local optician) before you buy online! :)

Haha, got my eyeglass-frame today.
