Death over the internet is awkward because it's largely impersonal but one still feels affected.
What's your opinion on this subject?



One online person I knew passed away in a car accident yesterday. According to his sister, he didn't use seatbelt and was thrown out of the frontwindow.

Can't say he was my friend or something, but I did get in contact with him once in a while.
If this was a totally stranger, the situation would have been different. But I've known him for like 2-3 years now.

The thought of re-reading his old messages is very scary.
