Mine would have to be the Sonic Comics. They were awesome in the beginning. Were simple and actually had a start and an end to a particular story in one comic. Later down the tracks they got really complicated and kept going but still enjoyed them just not as much. Plus as mentioned in Novel thread, the Footrot flats Comics |

The Preacher series. Seriously, nothing else comes close! Bought all trades (I think it is nine trade paperbacks) and have almost the entire set in single issues. |

we talking series or one offs? I went through a "graphic novel" phase back a few years back. My favourites is (cliche...) "The Crow" - fuckin mental, and much as I love the film - the GN is much better. Read it while listening to the movie soundtrack Also liked anything illustrated by Simon Bisley. (who, obviously, was the inspiration for "Simon" in Spaced - one of my fave shows) |

I loved the whole Marvel Universe around the build up of the Onslaught storyline. Everything from Fatal Attractions (where Wolvie lost his adamantium) right through the Heroes Reborn was quality stuff, well thought out in detail well in advance. And Onslaught was fucking awesome! Can't stand Marvel these days. They kill everyone off and bring them back so many times, and they turned Beast into a fucking cat. A cat!!! Needless to say, my He-man comic collection is constantly growing. The old and the new. It's about all I actively collect now. My whole comic collection pretty much fills a chest of drawers. Special mention to my Star Trek meets the X-Men comic, for pure corniness. Absolute classic. |

I bought all Marvel Civil War - World War Hulk titles however as of late my standing order is shrinking. Besides Marvel Zombies the only other two titles I follow is Punisher: War Journal and Captain America. X-Men was great for the first 50 or so issues. To be honest I picked up issue #200 to jump back in but just didn't like the artwork to make it through the entire thing. I think as I am getting older I am getting very selective with my titles. Probably because it costs so much money each month lol |

Daredevil was my favorite back in my collecting days. I would read anything by Frank Miller, Alan Moore (they better not have stuffed up the Watchman movie) or Garth Ennis. |

I downloaded all the Maxx comics to have a read of them. They're pretty confusing if you just look at the last few issues, but there seems to be a pretty intelligent story going on there. CDisplay is awesome. When you really just want to read the impossible to get or very rare comics as opposed to collecting them, it's a great option. |

CDisplay is the name of program I use. The comics themselves I just pick up from random torrent sites whenever good ones appear. There's plenty on Mininova.org including the Buffy ones recently, but I haven't seen the Halo series yet unfortunately. |

One of my friends is a serious Maxx fan. She has a nice vinyl figure too. I use to read Marvel and DC but they don't seem to be as awesome these days. Spawn was one my favourites years ago. Now days I love anything by Jeffrey Brown or Charles Burns. The Lenore comics are pretty neat as well. Steven Weissman's stuff and a crap load of others including that madman Scott Morse!!!!! The Maakies, make me giggle like a school girl. I also collect a lot of children's books, by specific Illustrators or authors. |
