any one a fan, i love it.

beranrd cornwall is about the best, so far he's done,

a series set around king arthur
viking invasion of england
100 years war
napolionic war
american civil war.

also conn igulden is pretty good he only done 2 series
rome (rise of ceasor period)
and i think his new one is either ghengis khan or attilla the hun, im not sure.

but if your a fan of history (whilst these books are NOT accurate, they are accurate in how ppl lived etc, etc) and like a good story i highly recommend thes 2, there are others, but these are the best.

Yeah Bernard Cornwall is good.

Got the next two books in the Uhtred series for my bday. It has been awhile since I read the previous two so I might re-read them to refresh my memory.

David Gemmell has just finished a series of books set in ancient Greece, around the story of Troy. He actually died halfway through writing the final book, but his wife finished it. He also has others based on the same period which mix fiction with fact.

Ecxellent writer.
