Yes, shower us with outdated technology and charge us as if we are fucking retarded. Anything to make us forget about the RRoD. I love it.

I was going to post that here yesterday, until I discovered that once you delve past all the fluff, you'll find all that info was given by an non-creditable source on their forum. It's either a ton of awesome content, or everyone's been suckered into the biggest scam in a long while.

oh I thought it would be out earlier. That sucks.

I think the new dashboard looks a lot better and can't wait for it. It is bullshit that US gets everything and we dont' though. If you have a US account does it give access to the features?

I hope it is true I want new games announced.

id be surprised if we get the 'primetime' stuff..... Australia doesnt have the user base for it. if we DO get it, we'll be lumped with Europe, and thatll cease to be 'primetime'.

ill be happy enough with the facelift though.... i dont need on demand movies or bullshit primetime stuff thatll ill never do

They're working on something new to fix RRoD... CPU and GPU in one chip. Can't remember what the codename is.

interesting thing i discovered today: the NXE is for 360's with HDD or 256MB cards only....

Quote:

There's a lot to look forward to in the upcoming New Xbox Experience -- set to launch on November 19 -- but for those who own Xbox 360s without a hard drive or a 256MB memory card, you may have to go through a few headaches before you can download it. Speaking to Xbox360Fanboy, Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb revealed that the full download size of the NXE will be 128MB, which will make it too large for a "small percentage" of 360 owners sans hard drive.
Major Nelson did, however, promise that a "storage solution" will be made available for these users... but refused to provide any details for now. His full comment follows:

"The new Xbox experience will require 128MB of free space. A hard drive is recommended for the optimal experience, to take advantage of some new features, and to be able to enjoy the great movies, TV shows and games available on Xbox LIVE. While we expect the majority of consumers to download the New Xbox Experience without a problem, a small percentage of Xbox 360 owners do not have enough memory to accommodate the update. To help ensure all Xbox LIVE members are able to download the New Xbox Experience and enjoy its new features, Microsoft will be offering storage solutions to the Xbox LIVE community. We are not sharing details of this offering yet. Be sure to check xbox.com for more details in the coming weeks."

You're kidding aren't you?

People didn't realise this would take up a fair chunk of HD space??

...and it's not taking up that much at that.
