Sorry that's a shitty topic title, but i seriously couldn't come up with else right now, if someone has one more appropriate, i'll change it. You know when you've move your xbox or whatever, and you're in the process of plugging it all back in, and when you plug the power cable into the xbox that has the other end already plugged into the power socket, you get that yucky spark and 'zapp' noise? and then you enter into the compulsory 15 second mild panic mode as you fumble around getting the rest of the cables plugged in as fast as fucking possible so u can turn it on and see if that blue bolt of electricity you just saw light up the inside of your xbox has just given you the RRoD. The question; Whats better, plugging the power into the xbox first and then the power socket in the wall, or the other way around, Power socket, then xbox? |

I always plug the power into the xbox first, then the wall, then power on. |

unless you have a double poled (switches active and nuetral, not terribly common.) GPO, always go into your GPO last. |
