Has anyone else seen or read about this? The guy at the water plant who buys my scrap has been MIA for quite a while. There is another guy in there sometimes who is shifty. He says 'I'm not doing anything" when I ask what he's doing, but he won't buy my scrap. I have waited around and tried different times of the day. with no luck. Now selling it to Moria for .7 caps or something ridiculous.

Also where does the Brotherhood of Steel NPC

NPC's can be killed like any regular character. Very early in my game, a bunch of raiders killed one of the wandering traders; his pack horse (or brohim or whatever they're called) stayed in the same spot for the rest of the game, and searching the traders body gave me the key to it's pack.... needless to say, that was much appreciated in the early game!

I'd imagine that may be what happened.

Or, more likely, the game has bugged out. It does that a lot........

edit - oh, and I think she heads back to the citadel, but any NPC's you dismiss seem to travel in "real time". I dismissed dogmeat from around rivet city, and it took him ages to get to Vault 101. I was paranoid he'd get killed on the way....... (the reason I dismissed him in the first place, stupid dog...)

edit two - there is somewhere else you can trade scrap, to a ghoul, for supplies - if you don't want to sell it on the cheap. If you haven't found it, keep looking around the DC ruins.
