This looks good...

New Super Mario Bros for the Wii! Old skool 2D style with heavy emphasis on multiplayer. Showed off 4 player co-op with Mario, Luigi, and two different coloured Toads. Can be played single player and others can drop in an out of the game.

Wii Fit Plus. Sounds like it's Wii Fit with a heap more. A natural progression.

Showed of Motion Plus and Wii Sports Resort. To sum it up, take Wii Sports and refine it. Motion Plus looks very good.

Announced two new RPG's - Mario and Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story and Golden Sun DS.

New IP from Ubisoft for the DS called C.O.P. The Recruit. It's a not too shabby GTA clone. Worth a look.

Mario vs Donkey Kong: Minis March Again available only as a download on the DSi.

WarioWare DIY is a game that you can practically create from scarth and then share with other DS users. That will be cool!

Holy crap! You'll soon be able to upload photo's from your DSi to Facebook! OMG!!!

They announce the vitality sensor for the Wii. You stick it on your finger and it helps to tell if you're being relaxed or pumped up by whatever it is you're doing. Not sure where they're going with that one...

Super Mario Galaxy 2! Yoshi is playable! All reports say it looks like SMG1 on roids. Has to be good!

Big finale - Team Ninja are making a new Metroid game. They are aware that there's practically only the B-Team left of Team Ninja, right???

Well that shit on Sony's and is right up there with MS's, possibly better. Top effort Nintendo!

I have mixed feelings about SMG 2. It's the first 3D mario that's been sequalised.....

Still, the first was the best Mario ever in 3D so they're building on good foundations.

YAY NINTENDO!!!!

I regret I don't play it enough, but that's more my fault than the Wii's. There's a bunch of games on Wii that deserve a lot more of my time; no more heroes, house of the dead (need to finish directors cut mode), Madworld, Little King's Story..... all games I played a lot at first, but I'm not console gaming as much right now and previously I did find I'd gravitate to the PS3 and 360 more than Wii.

No regrets over buying it though, cause it has given me some of the best gaming this generation as well; plus, it was worth it for the fact it gets my mum gaming at christmas.....

Oh, i do, i do.

Only games i've liked is SMG (120 stars baby) and paper mario.

The hard ware just dosnt cut it for what they are trying to do with it. This new mario looks like it's what the wii has been waiting for though.

At first, you get excited by the Wii and all it's originality, then it will wear off and you'll be disappointed, and then you start concentrating on the actual games and you'll find it definitely has it's place. The gimickery needs time to settle in your system.

I don't know what you're talking about with the hardware Wolfman. I find if anything isn't entirely up to scratch then it's the developers that are the issue, not the kit. For every crap controlling game there's another which works brilliantly.

Also, my Wii is still working. My 360 isn't. That's shit hardware that isn't up to the task. Perception.

I regret buying mine. I thought it would great to play madworld & house of the dead, but playing more than one level at a time of house of the dead at a time makes my arms feel like they are going to drop off and madwrold gets very repetitive very quick.

Was always the problem with shooting games, they would kill your arms every time. Even worse is when they used to give you the huge chunky guns like the Virtua Cop guns for the Saturn. Weighed a ton on the front end.

Sorry hiss i didnt really explain what i meant from hardware. What i meant was that in order to take the very significant visual drop the controls need to make up for it. Especially now that everyone is jumping on the big N's train.

Games like paper mario and galaxy are great because they work with what the system can do. Simple visuals and fun controls. The hardware just doest cut it for what they are trying to do, the fault is not the the hard ware but the developers acting like they are coding for a 360.

Hope that made a little sense. :$

Yeah, the trick is to play the games that are neither the half arsed ports from the other consoles, or the cheap and nasty Wii exclusives that are simply developers trying to cash in on the the non-gamers.

I have also found that many games are simply a ton better when played with the vintage controller. The wiimote has it's place but is often forced into situations it shouldn't. Take a game like SMG for example. The motion control is actually very sparingly used. Less is more, and Nintendo themselves use it wisely. Third parties can get carried away.

I'm more than happy with my Wii.

mainly have sports games and enjoy them alot, I get alot of play out of Wii Sports. It's just different to the others. I have the same problem with House of the Dead but have still finished the game a couple of times!
can you read this?
