Would have to say, everything there would make sense and fits in with typical Nintendo history. I'd definitely be on board for one of those, though one thing not mentioned that the Wii desperately needs is a far better storage solution. Let us chuck a hard drive in there and let WiiWare grow some real legs. |

I still don't have a Wii but will get one when they finally release the black one here. If there were any games worth getting on the Wii 2 I would probably buy it. |

no mention of tech-specs, beyond bluray. Without a decent improvement in GPU and CPU, there's not much point; I'd expect the specs to be at least equivalent of 360/PS3. In fact, I'd go as far to say that the specs will probably be around the same, but no better. This would make sense, as they could use essentially "off the rack" parts and get the power of either of those for a competitive price. Back-compat will be tricky though, unless they use an other evolution of the gamecube silicon; and I'm not sure wether that's up to the task. |
