Such a feature shouldn’t detract from the overall online experience much, but there will surely be some gamers who won’t like the type of feature being implemented. With some gamers only using the private chat to talk to friends while playing different games, this will likely pose a problem for them.

i hate party chats, it fucks up MP, your trying to work as a team but some fuckwit is in a party chat and fucks it, and Live is a so emty now, you cant just jump into an MP game and chat away with randoms anymore cause every fuck wit is in chat, good ridance, i may start going back to MP now.

Halo. There is not a single person on there anymore that I want to hear a word from other than people on my friends list.

I'm not interested in trash talk and that's all you get these days. Party chat is an idiot filter.

The game is out, people are playing it, and people like it. A LOT of people. There is one small annoyance that a lot of people have complained about, though, and thats the lack of being able to talk in your private Xbox Live parties while in certain game modes.
