I keep looking at Champions online & wanting to purchase it......but i still can't get over the subscription hurdle. I just can't seem to justify paying $15/month to play a game. Its the same reason ive never cracked open WOW, much to my brothers persistence

I loved Champions for a while, but the server outages for updates occur at peak playing time for WA, at least they where - 6pm to 8pm. Which was bad. It was every night, almost, so I was getting to play maybe once/twice a week for an hour or so at a time.

It's not hugely social either, as you can solo most of it, and there where/are some terrible flat spots where you have to grind for a while to level up enough to be able to tackle missions without dieing constantly.

Having said that, I teamed up quite a number of times with randoms to do quests and it was heaps of fun.

I may go back to it in a while - when they should be updating less often, so less outages - but am also being lured to Star Trek Online which releases in Feb
yo listen up here's a story
about a little guy that lives in a blue world
and all day and all night and everything he sees
is just blue like him inside and outside
blue his house with a blue little window
and a blue corvette
and everything is blue for him and hisself
and everybody around
cos he ain't got nobody to listen to

i'm blue da ba dee da ba die...
